How To: Send or Schedule an Email

Let’s say that you want to send a prospect an email talking about a property’s features and amenities.

In this tutorial, we will go over how you can schedule or automatically send emails to a prospect under the hyCRM app.

Step 1: Under the hyCRM pipeline, find and click on the tile of the prospect that you want to send an email to. You will be taken to the prospect’s Activity Stream page.

Step 2: Click on the button labeled + Email, located in the top right area of the Activity Stream and the middle of the three buttons. A pop-up window will appear, displaying several fields for you to fill out.

Step 3: Under the Message field, you have the option of either writing an email in the text area, or picking a pre-drafted email – also called a canned response. To select a canned response, click on the “Pick a Response” dropdown and select the one that you want to send to the prospect.

Step 4: After you have either chosen a canned response or wrote out your email, you have two options on how you can send it.

You can either click the Send Now button, which will immediately send the email out to the prospect.

Or, you can click the Schedule For Later button, which will allow you to send your email out at a specific date / time.

Step 5: If you choose to click on the Schedule For Later button, a pop-up window will appear, which will allow you to select the date and time that you want the email to be sent out.

Step 6: When you have picked a date and time, the Schedule For Later button will change into an “Active” state. Your date and time selections will also appear in the button’s area. If you are satisfied with the scheduled date, click the button, and the email will be sent out according to your selected date and time.
