How To: Create a Task for Later

Leasing agents will have plenty of tasks to do concerning various prospects in a single work day. However, hyCRM allows agents to spread out all of their tasks throughout their schedule, whether it be for the week or month. In this tutorial, you will learn how your agents can create prospect tasks to take care of on a later date.

Step 1: Click on a prospect’s tile on the CRM Pipeline to go to their Activity Stream, and click on the + Task button. (It’s the third button located in the top right corner of the page)

Step 2: After you click the + Task button, a pop-up window containing several task fields will appear, allowing you to create a task for a later date.

Step 3: Click on the “Task Type” dropdown field and choose if the future task is going to be to make a phone call, send an email, or a to-do task.

Step 4: Click on the “Due” field; a calendar pop-up widget will appear for you to select the task’s due date.

Step 5: Under the “About” field, write down a brief description of what the task is about.

Step 6: The “Assign to” dropdown field will automatically assign the task to the agent currently logged in. If you want the task to be assigned to another agent, click on the dropdown and select the agent whom you want to assign the task to.

Step 7: This is optional, but under the “Note” text field, you can write any important details about the task.

Step 8: Once you are satisfied with your task, click the Save button. You will then see a little message pop-up saying “Task was created successfully!” while the new task will appear on top of the prospect’s Activity Stream.
